Happy New Year!!!!

I woke up into 2010 with love in my heart, love for my children. I woke up with gratitude in my heart for their unconditional love, their laughter, questions and sense of adventure. My gratitude also came from a sense of contentment and a knowing that 2010 will bring fruit to many new discoveries and learning. I love learning and I love the experience of life.

Last night we tried to stay up until midnight but fell asleep watching the Planet Earth videos (which are awesome). I love my children and in this New Year I vow to take care of myself emotionally, physically and spiritually so that I can serve them with love, understanding and much patience (yes, I need more patience). My Grandmother Boudreau always said that the secret ingredient for child rearing was patience. Thank you memere I will cultivate your wisdom.

May you be prosperous and happy in this new year :)
This is my favorite shot for 2009

You now what my mom always sais about raising kids...
1. Your raising kids, not a house (when I complain about my always messy house) and,
2. If there is not a ring around your tub after bath's, they didn't have a good day.
Maybe not quite as deep, but sure get's me through some days :)
Happy New Year to you and your family.

Hi Anne,
Thanks for sending me the pattern for the hat. I've knit two but can't locate my darning needle (darn it, haha)
Happy New Year to you and your family as well :)

beautiful... seems that patience can so easily run in short supply... especially with lack of sleep as we try to 'do it all'or cope with waking babies. above being in love and grateful for my children, i am so thankful for people like you who inspire me to continually be the best i can be for my children... with a good dose of patience. we miss you.
